Adirondack Inspired Weddings
I'm super excited to be visiting my family this weekend for my cousin's baby's 1st birthday!!! Even though it's a 6 hour drive (see map) it's a lot better then driving from Savannah, GA to Boston, MA. Well, it's still snowy and cold here in the Adirondacks so I've put together another one of my Adirondack Inspired Weddings post and if you missed my other ones click here and here and here. But believe me, I'm so ready to start doing spring inspiration boards!

{inspiration board} No. 12 Flower Girls & Ring Bearers
Need I say that I am obviously obsessed with little girls in tutus!? If my husband and I have a girl, he's in trouble since I am such a girly girl and wished my parents dressed me up like this, but instead I looked more like a boy all the time (see photo at the bottom of this post). I remember when I was the flower girl for my aunt's wedding and boy oh boy I wore that purple dress until it was rags! So I really enjoyed when my clients had adorable little kids at their wedding. Some may disagree and do not want ANY kids at weddings and get very angry when kids are there, BUT if you do have kids at your wedding, here's some adorable inspiration!!
source: I know I should probably list all the links but really if you follow this pinterest board you will find all the links and I'll be adding more and more! http://pinterest.com/laylam/flower-girls-ring-bearers-doggies
Now for some fun!! First, I couldn't find found a picture of me when I was the flower girl for my aunt's wedding (since it's still in boxes from our move), and here is a photo of me at that age and an example of how my parents dressed me like a boy. This is one of our epic family photos since my shorts are so crooked. Secondly, here is a picture collage of the FUNNIEST ring bearer meltdown at my friend's wedding. Here I am helping the little kiddos get ready to walk down and he does not want to do it. Of course we practiced 2 times the day before and the two of them were fine, but then the day of with all the people there and his really uncomfortable dress shoes, he was in a mood. I have to say I have a lot of patients with kids and I like helping them down the aisle and this worked out perfect since this little guy knew me. Well the flower girl was great and doesn't she look like a little Belle!? They did manage to get down the aisle, but it was a hilarious scene!!

Different Types of Wedding Photographers
This is a great break down on the types of photographers! This helps educate you as to what you may be looking for, how much you want to spend, what caliber of a photographer you want, and how much experience the photographer has. Pricing SHOULD correlate to the amount of experience they have, the amount of time they put into your photos, their photography education, and talent the photographer has.

{inspiration board} No. 11 doggies
I'm way behind on my blogging, but I've been busy over on my new website A Military Story. Since we moved up to New York I have unpacked a lot, set up my office, and started substitute teaching. The substituting has been going really well, but now I have less time to blog. I've been meaning to put together this board on adorable dog ideas for your wedding, since two of these images were from clients I helped out with. If you have a well behaved dog and they are an important part of your family, why not include them!?
