{inspiration board} No. 3 pomegranate

Pomegranate is such a nice winter or fall color. I was reading the new issue of Real Simple and saw this gorgeous flower arrangement it inspired me to create this board. Awhile ago I created the Boho Beach styled shoot with Alexis Sweet Photography and we incorporated pomegranates with our Moroccan fruit platter. Their seeds inside are so tasty and beautiful. I hope you enjoy my other inspiration ideas and don't miss the pomegranate recipe below.

My favorite martinis drinks are pomegranate too. Here's a recipe for you!
Pomegranate Martini Ingredients
1 oz. freshly squeezed pomegranate juice or POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
1 1/2 oz. vodka
1 1/2 oz. grapefruit juice
1/2 oz. sour mix, or 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lime
1/2 oz. simple syrup (equal parts sugar and cold water dissolved together)
Spiraled orange rind for garnish
Ice cubes

Instructions Combine all ingredients in a mixing cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with orange twist or mint sprig. * Use with fresh or ready-made Pomegrante juice. **To make Pomegranate Juice, cut a ripe medium sized pomegranate in half and squeeze with any conventional juicer.
